Zest Dry Cleaners (UK)

By using our services, including in-store, pickup, and delivery services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. General

Zest Dry Cleaners (“we,” “us,” “our”) provides garment cleaning, laundry, and related services within the United Kingdom. These Terms & Conditions apply to all customers unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Cleaning & Care

  • We use reasonable skill and care in line with UK dry cleaning industry standards.

  • Some garments may have inherent defects, weak fibres, unstable dyes, or manufacturer faults that are not visible prior to cleaning. We cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from such issues.

  • We do not guarantee the complete removal of stains.

3. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must inform us of any known stains, damage, delicate fabrics, or special care requirements at the time of booking or drop-off.

  • All garments should be checked for personal items before cleaning. We are not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets (including pens, keys, or electronics).

4. Pickup & Delivery Service

  • Pickup and delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or operational circumstances.

  • Customers must ensure someone is available at the agreed location and time, or provide clear safe-place instructions.

  • We are not responsible for loss or damage once items have been delivered to a customer-designated safe place.

  • Failed collections or deliveries may result in additional charges.

5. Liability

  • Our liability for loss or damage to any item shall be limited to a maximum of 10 times the cleaning charge for that item, in accordance with standard UK industry practice, unless otherwise required by law.

  • We are not liable for normal wear and tear, colour fading, shrinkage, or changes caused by the cleaning process where reasonable care has been taken.

6. Claims

  • Any claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of collection or delivery.

  • The garment must be returned to us for inspection before any claim can be considered.

  • Claims made outside this period may not be accepted.

7. Uncollected Items

  • Items not collected or scheduled for delivery within 30 days of the agreed completion date may be treated as abandoned.

  • Abandoned items may be donated or disposed of at our discretion. Outstanding charges will still apply.

8. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are based on garment type and condition and may change without prior notice.

  • Payment is due upon collection or delivery unless a prior agreement has been made.

  • Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled items, special treatments, or urgent services.

9. Turnaround Times

  • Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • Delays may occur due to garment condition, specialist treatments, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse cleaning of any item that poses a health or safety risk, or which we believe cannot be cleaned safely or effectively.

11. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Customer information is used solely for service provision and communication.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
